    Developer Note: Almost every item in Dawngate has changed in some way, below will be a list of each item sorted by the tree it belongs to.

    --Health Tree--

    • Life
      • The Consume I passive is now stackable.

    • Vigor
      • The Consume II passive is now stackable.
      • Now additionally builds into the new Legendary item: Prosperity.
      • Now additionally builds into the new Legendary item: Defiance.
      • Price reduced to 1010, down from 1070.

    • Rampancy
      • The Consume III passive is now stackable.
      • The Health to Power conversion ratio on the Juggernaut passive ability has been reduced to 1% of max Health, down from 1.5%.

      • Unique Passive - Cornered Beast: When you drop below 25% Health all of your non-ultimate abilities have their cooldowns reset and you gain 50% cooldown reduction.

      • Now additionally builds into the new Legendary item: Vengeance.

    • Glory
      • The base damage on Blazing Aura passive has been reduced to 20, down from 30.
      • The max Health ratio on Blazing Aura passive has been reduced to 1%, down from 1.2%.

      • Unique Passive - Hellfire: Basic attacks cause the target to burn for 30 magical damage over 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Every 3rd attack against a target affected by Hellfire will emit a firenova, damaging all enemies within 500 range for 75 (+30% Power) magical damage.

    • Fortitude
      • This item has been removed from the game.

    • New Advanced Item: Purity
      • +250 Health
      • Stackable Passive - Transfusion: You transfuse the allied Shaper with the lowest health percentage within 800 range, healing them for 30 Health. This effect has a 15 second cooldown.

      • Unique Passive - Symbiosis: Nearby allied Shapers gain 10 Health Regen and Symbiosis. When allies under the influence of Symbiosis deal damage your cooldowns are reduced to 0.25 seconds. Whenever you deal damage, allies under the influence of Symbiosis gain 20 Power for 2 seconds. The cooldown reduction effect can only be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.

      • Unique Passive - Devotion Aura: You and nearby allied Shapers gain 20 Armor and 15 Magic Resistance. Additionally, you will infuse the allied Shaper with the lowest health percentage within 800 range, healing them for 45 (+20% Power). The healing effect has a 15 second cooldown.

      • Discipline now gives 25 Haste.
      • Added the Stackable Passive - Inner Peace: Dealing damage reduces the target's Power by 10 for 3 seconds.

    • Equilibrium
      • The Unique Passive: Wither has been reworked and renamed to Subdue.
      • Unique Passive: Subdue - Dealing damage will reduce the target's Power by 10 and attack speed by 30% for 3 seconds.
      • Price increased to 2880, up from 2560.

    • Subjugation
      • The Unique Passive: Power Lock has been reworked.
      • Unique Passive: Power Lock - Dealing damage reduces the target's Power by 10 and all damage they deal by 10% for 3 seconds.

    --Magic Resistance Tree--
    • Will
      • The Void passive is now stackable.
      • Fixed a bug where the Void passive was not triggering correctly.

    • Conviction
      • Health increased to 200, up from 150.
      • Magic Resistance increased to 40, up from 35.
      • Void II passive removed.
      • New Stackable Passive - Fervor: Taking damage from an enemy Shaper causes you to regenerate 40 Health over 10 seconds.
      • Cost increased to 1340, up from 1315.

    • Faith
      • Movement speed removed.
      • Now has the Stackable Passive - Fervor.
      • Price increased to 2820, up from 2365.
      • Fixed a bug where the magic shield granted from this item's passive would not be correctly removed if the item was sold.

    • New Legendary Item: Retribution
      • +10 Power

      • +45 Magic Resistance
      • Stackable Passive - Fervor.
      • Unique Passive - Mage Slayer: Reduces and stores 10% of the raw magic damage dealt to you. The stored damage is applied as bonus magic damage on your next basic attack.

      • The Unique Passive - Divine Intervention II has been removed from this item and replaced with the Unique Passive - Avatar.
      • Unique Passive - Avatar: Upon dropping below 50% Health you will gain a bonus Armor, Magic Resistance, and 20% damage reduction for 4 seconds. Dealing damage extends the effect by 1 second up to a maximum of 8 seconds. The bonus values are equal to 100% of your Armor and Magic Resistance. This effect has a 30 second cooldown.

      • This item has been removed from the game.

    • New Advanced Item: Balance

      • Stackable Passive - Will Thief: Dealing damage will steal the target's Magic Resistance, reducing it by 4 and increasing yours by the same amount. This effect stacks up to 5 times.

      • The Unique Passive - Spirit Burn has been reworked.
      • Unique Passive - Spirit Burn: Dealing damage with abilities will deal 6% of the target's maximum Health over 3 seconds as magical damage. Damage against non-Shapers cannot exceed 320 total damage.

    • Hunger
      • Now gives +5 Power.
      • The Life Leech passive has been reworked.
      • Stackable Passive - Life Leech: Heals a flat amount per damage dealt. The amount is doubled against enemy Shapers. This effect has a 0.5 second cooldown.
      • Price increased to 460, up from 420.

    • Desire
      • No longer has the Unique Passive - Desperate Thrist I.
      • Now gives +10 Power in addition to its other attributes.
      • Price increased to 1170, up from 1090.

    • Consumption
      • Power reduced to 25, down from 26.
      • Price increased to 1270, up from 1260.
      • No longer builds into Ambition.

    • Assimilation
      • Defense Penetration reduced to 10, down from 15.
      • Price increased to 3075, up from 2950.

    • Voracity
      • The Mastery provided by this item has been removed.
      • Lifedrain reduced to 10%, down from 12%.
      • Power increased to 50, up from 45.
      • The Rising Hunger passive ability on this item now only works on basic attacks, instead of all damage types.
      • The Power provided by the Rising Hunger passive ability on this item has been increased to 6 per stack, up from 4.
      • Price decreased to 3025, down from 3160.

    • Ambition
      • The Desperate Thirst passive ability on is now simply Desperate Thirst, rather than Desperate Thirst II due to the removal of the ability from Desire.
      • Price increased to 2555, down from 2575.

    Balance and Tuning

    Shapers

    Developer Note: With the release of the reworked Item system and new version of the map in Dawngate, many systemic changes had to happen to each archetype of Shaper.

    With this in mind, EVERY Shaper has had their base movement speed and attack range increased by 11% across the board.


    Amarynth

    • Feeding Frenzy (Q)
      • The range of this ability has been increased by 11%
      • The Power ratio of this ability has been reduced to 0.7, down from 1.0.
      • The Power ratio of the damage over time component of this ability has been reduced to 0.6, down from 0.8.
      • The base damage of the damage over time component of this ability has been reduced to 50/80/110/140/170, down from 80/120/160/200/240.
    • Waverider (W)
      • The range of this ability has been increased by 6%.
      • The Power ratio of this ability has been reduced to 0.6, down from 0.8.

    • The healing gained from killing a jungle creature has been reduced to 2.5% of its maximum Health, down from 5%.


    Predator

    • The Shaper kill Vim bonus has been increased to 150%, up from 135%.
    • The Shaper assist Vim bonus has been increased to 200%, up from 180%.


    Tactician

    • The proximity Vim bonus has been increased to 200%, up from 150%.
    • The bonus Vim for harassing enemy Shapers is now 40 and 20 Vim (melee and ranged, respectively) up from 30 and 15.


    Spells

    Dispel
    • The cooldown of this spell has been increased to 180 seconds, up from 90.
    • The residual tenacity granted by this ability has been reduced to 35%, down from 50%.


    Tailwind
    • The cooldown of this spell has been increased to 120 seconds, up from 75.


    Deflect
    • The cooldown of this spell has been increased to 150 seconds, up from 90.
    • The base shield amount of this spell has been reduced to 50, down from 80.
    • The shield per level of this spell has been reduced to 9, down from 10.


    Bastion
    • The cooldown of this spell has been increased to 210 seconds, up from 150.

    • The experience multiplier for killing a Shaper that is higher level than the killer has been increased to the following values:

    • Minions will now spawn at 1:00, down from 1:30.

    • Money pigs will now spawn at 3:30, down from 4:00.
    • The amount of Vim that Spirit Well workers gather has been increased to 1.5 Vim per worker, up from 1.
    • Lane minion vim rewards and scaling have been adjusted to the following values:

        • Base vim reward decreased to 2.5, down from 6.5.
        • Vim per level reward has been decreased to 0.0.25, down from 0.1.

    • Temporarily removed the ranking change indicator icons due to several accuracy issues.
    • To be placed on the Leaderboards you must now have played a minimum of 50 games.
    • Updated the Leaderboard header to signify the 50 game requirement as well as indicating that the Leaderboard is sorted by MMR.
    • Adjusted tuning for player idle decay.


    UI

    • The Health bar of the player's Shaper will now be displayed as yellow as a contrast to the other player's Health bars.
    • Shapers that become untargetable for a short amount of time will now have their Health bars faded by 50% rather than disappearing from the screen entirely, allowing you to more easily track the position of these Shapers.


    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue that would cause non-Shaper enemies to not correctly play their death animation if they died to a critical strike.
    • Fixed a crash that could potentially occur when viewing the leaderboard.
    • Fixed an issue that would cause jungle creeps to heal as if their target had walked out of range when it actually hadn't.
    • Fixed an issue that prevented a second Desecrator Forgotten Tombs (Q), when used within a short window after the first, from knocking up properly.
    • Fixed an issue that was causing Vex not to use VO when pinging a Binding.
    • Fixed an issue that was causing the sound effects for the Northern Insight Ward Skin to be too low.
    • Fixed an issue where Matchmaking lobbies would incorrectly report a queue time of 00:00.
    • Fixed some choreography issues on the Blessings reward tier indicator.
    • "Will Fit" mode in Loadouts will no longer display content you do not own, unless Crafting Mode is also toggled to "On."
    • Fixed an issue causing the player's team not to be the team on the top half of the end-game Karma screen.
    • Fixed an issue causing the item Faith's passive text to pop up over dead bodies.
    • Fixed an issue that would allow players to invite invalid targets to a game from the social panel on the right click menu.
    • Fixed an issue allowing non-hosts to invite players to Matchmaking lobbies.
    • Refreshing the chat channel list no longer places the user in General Chat.
    • Fixed an issue that was preventing Item passives from displaying in the post-game scoreboard.

    Nerf all the things except for Mikella and Vex, and buff Faris, Marah, and Nissa.

    Edit: Missed the fact that Vex hadn't been nerfed. Jagged Spines' range is increased, but that's just to fit with the attack range increase.

    No nerf to Mikella and why do Faris need a buff? No change to blue random roll at the end of a match? Where is the big change for Predator role? The Vim bonus was just increased! Sad that there are just some small balance changes to the shapers. Its always like that, but we need more changes on that part.

    Gonna be honest, I really liked the respawning bindings, yeah it lengthened games.
    But it made Dawngate feel incredibly unique, so did the three health bars.
    Watching the trail of light and the Bindings come together, and defending the bindings after they did so you wouldn't lose your come back (BUt it making not much difference if you didn't help)
    And the Ancient being a legitimate boss that you could do a lot of damage to, but fail the final push, but still be up on the opponent. You're not pushing to win or failing completely, it wasn't all for nothing.

    These changes make it way more like a normal, general MOBA.
    I liked the 'Break the meta' outlook, and I'm really sad to see a lot of these unique assets go.
    I feel like they could've been reworked to be better, rather than just given up on while falling back on what a normal MOBA would do.
    We have enough normal MOBA, keep on being Unique, guys, it suits your game design so much more.

    Overall:

    - Awesome, big patch!

    What I'm sad about:

    - What's with the mega nerfs to some power ratios? I'm afraid of the game turning into a tug of war because of noone having good burst any more. For example, if you take away Amarynth's burst, what is she left with? Maybe the new items make up for it, but it gave me a sinking feeling.

    - Nerf to some Spell Book spell CDs. My precious Dispel. Since it barely did anything other than removing those pesky stuns, I don't feel like nerfing the CD that much was justified. It felt good using it often. Now I see the spell CDs coming closer and closer to 210 secs. Don't turn this into LoL please. You just made Blink all that much better of an option, if you end up with everyone using it, like in LoL, it is going to suck. I didn't stop playing LoL regularly to play a game where everyone uses Blink+another spell, like in LoL. Here, even have a smiley to see how sad I am.

    I'd love to hear the reasoning behind these changes.

    Amazing patch! Will make an interesting change to the game. The only thing I do not like in the slightest is the change of colour to the player's Shapers healthbar. Before the patch, it was of a lighter blue compared to the dark blue bars of your teammates. Now, the yellow will indeed stick out from the dark blue of your teammates, but compared to the background, they'll be harder to see. Especially to me as a colourblind person. If you're planning on make more of these sort of changes, please introduce a colourblind-friendly ui mode. Of course, I'm judging this change from text alone, so my opinion my change(Edits inc).
